Sunday night at church, Pastor Keith gave a sermon that, by the end of the night, had me in tears digging through bags that I hadn't look through in years. The series has been 'God will Make A Way' or something along those lines and this week Keith talked about the baggage we all carry. Those things that happened to us that we continue to carry around. In less than the hour and half we had for the service, I had dug through some nasty stuff and finally made the connections I have been working on for the past few weeks.
My past and the actions of my past have molded me into this stone pillar. I have become distant from everything: friends, work, hobbies, even my family, and I didn't care.
I have a new outlook now.
I'm preparing to get out of the misty woods and get back onto the road God has placed in front of me. I have been ignoring everything but now, I walk hand in hand with Him leading the way.
If you've been in the darkness for too long, God will take your baggage from you, lightening your load, and allow you to walk by Him again. Take it from personal experience.
Grace and Peace,
Jesse
