riding the wave

As a Thanksgiving treat, I was accepted into the Google Wave trial runs, and haven't had a chance to do anything except look through the pre-made 'waves' which really doesn't help me do anything other than think of really cool things to do with it.

Ideas are one thing, implementation of those ideas are a completely different concept...

I currently did a back and forth kind of thing with my small group, a week ago, contrasting the concept of community and its biblical need. The concept was gold but the combination of pain and medication running through an empty stomach made it hard for me to focus and really hit home what I was trying to say. I hope to really etch out the rough idea that I started with them and really nail something worth looking deeper into. The basic idea: God knew we were going to fail but through that failure we can really understand what we need from ourselves, each other and for one another. From Eden to Acts or How the Acts Church isn't just about Church but how it can mold us into a God based Community.

Dreams... We just finished a sermon series on dreams but more importantly God Focused Dreams, dreams that God gives all of us and how to fight through the mucky-muck (yes, I just quoted a Jack Black song) and get back in key with God's dreams for us. I've finally done that. I'm afraid now to move forward, knowing what I know now, not knowing what I should know.
